Hello, I am Linsey!

I am a freelance photographer, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, specializing in wedding and event photography. From banquets to engagements and birthday photoshoots. Capturing all your most precious memories is my passion. My love for photography began at a young age and continues to
grow.
My number one priority is bringing your vision to life.

Passion Project

I was always a creative child and growing up I did as many creative things as possible. Such as playing guitar, drawing, and painting. At the age of 16, I wanted to take up photography. I was gifted my first point and shoot for my birthday and I would go out and take photos of my dogs, plants, birds, whatever I could.

After high school, I wanted to take a couple of years off and travel. I bought a DSLR camera to capture all those moments. It was definitely a learning curve from a simple point and shoot to a DSLR. I took up a photography beginners course at Arapahoe Community College in Colorado, USA. to learn how to use my camera to its fullest potential.

When I returned home from traveling, a family member asked if I could take their matric dance photos. That was the start of my professional career.

Photography changes the way you see things, you notice light, shapes, and shadows. Once you start noticing those details, you see all the beauty around you. The way I see the world is unique and photography has allowed me to share that perspective with others.
